Update from Inhae
Hello Readers,
I hope you all had a great summer! It's been a busy (and often stressful!) couple of months for me, but I'm excited to finally take a moment and share with you what I've been working on.
To begin, for anyone living in Northern California, I will be making an appearance at the Sonoma County Book Festival this Saturday (Sept. 22). There is a panel featuring authors who have transitioned their work from blogging to books that I will be participating in. I may possibly be signing books too. So if you're around, please stop by and say, "Hello"- I'd love to meet you.
And now, for what I've been working on:
First off, are canvas ickle and Lardee tote bags.
These tote bags will be available this year at the San Francisco Alternative Press Expo (Oct 13-14), and afterwards online. The bags were constructed especially for this project by a local sewing company using organic cotton canvas, and screen printed locally too. I love tote bags and use them regularly, so I made sure these bags were strong and made with care- I hope you like them.
Next is an update on the ickle and Lardee vinyl toys:
Above are the first prototypes for the toys. The models still need some final tweaks, but overall I'm very excited about how they are coming along. I'm aiming for a Christmas-time release, but that all depends on how quickly things can get moving. There will be a limited quantity available for presale in the coming months, so stay tuned- More updates to come.
Lastly, I'm excited to announce My Milk Toof: Book 2! I am aiming for a March 2013 release, and it will feature five brand new stories. This is still a long way from now, but I just wanted to let you know since many have been asking.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments and emails- I will try to update the blog more often once these projects settle down!
Cheers,
Inhae
